Student affairs office of IIUC is regularly organize orientation and awareness sessions on various issues for the sound physical and mental growth of the students.
The department is regularly organizing orientation session(s) for the freshers to acquaint them with academic program, career prospects and pathways before the start of the program in each semester.
The students are encouraged to involve in co- and extra-curricular activities and community services organize by the department/IIUC.
There is a placement and career counseling office in the university to organize career counseling and guidance sessions regularly.
There is an arrangement in the PoE for monitoring student’s progress and achievement as well as to take special care of the weak students.

A documented key performance indicator (KPIs) of the faculty and professional staff is well-communicated to evaluate performances of faculty and professional staff at three levels (i) Head of the PoE, (ii) students and (iii) self-evaluation.
Department (POE) maintains provision to appoint adjunct faculty to bridge the gap between academia and industry/professional life to provide the students with new ways of thinking and learning.
IIUC has faculty and professional staff development policy to attend seminar, workshop, conference, and academic visits at home and abroad.
IIUC has policy to support the faculty to take part in different training program and advanced studies for skill development.
IIUC is maintaining salary structure with incentives to retain the talented and experienced faculty and professional staff.
Teacher’s workload distribution policy at IIUC in teaching and research is justified.
The PoE maintains ideal combination of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Lecturer with reasonable ratio of 1:2:4:3 for effective teaching learning in the academic program.
