IIUC Secures Prestigious HEAT ATF Project
The International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) has achieved a remarkable milestone in academic excellence and research innovation by securing a prestigious sub-project under the Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation (HEAT) Project’s Academic Transformation Fund (ATF). Out of 1,481 submitted proposals, only 151 were awarded after rigorous rounds of evaluation, making IIUC’s achievement a significant recognition of its academic strength and research capacity. In a landmark event held today at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre, the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh signed agreements with award-winning public and private universities.
The project is led by Prof Dr. Abdullahil Mamun as the Sub-Project Manager (SPM), supported by Prof Dr. Nazamul Hoque and Md. Rizwan Hasan, FCMA as Associate Sub-Project Managers (ASPMs), all from IIUC. Dr. Shahanara Basher from the University of Science and Technology Chittagong joins as a member of the project team, strengthening academic collaboration.
