Welcome to IIUCIC 2011

International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) is one of the top performing private universities in Bangladesh. It was established in 1995 with an aim to create and disseminate knowledge in the fields of shari’ah, modern sciences, arts and humanities, law, business, and so on. IIUC has been organizing various national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences on different important, contemporary and relevant issues since very inception of its establishment.

The aim of this conference is to arrange an intellectual discussion on the recent developments of Islam and education. It is hoped that the conference will serve as a meeting place for academics, scholars, thinkers, and experts from various disciplines, to will combine theoretical knowledge with practical experiences. It is expected that the conference will come up with some specific recommendations for improving education in the light of Islamic philosophy and principles.
