I am Khandakar Abdulla Al Mamun, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. My academic and research activities focus on the development, integration, and practical application of modern electrical power and energy technologies.
As a researcher, my primary interests include renewable energy-based power generation, power system operation and protection, electrical machines, energy storage systems, electric vehicle (EV) transportation, and intelligent energy management. My research particularly emphasizes the integration of renewable energy sources with energy storage and EV charging infrastructure to develop sustainable, reliable, and efficient energy systems.
A significant focus of my research is on Bangladesh-based renewable energy development, considering the country's energy demand, available renewable resources, grid infrastructure, and emerging transportation needs. I am interested in developing practical solutions for renewable power generation and its effective utilization in residential, commercial, industrial, and transportation sectors.
My current research direction also includes EV-grid integration, renewable-powered EV charging systems, battery energy storage, peer-to-peer energy trading, smart energy management, and decentralized power systems. Through these research activities, I aim to contribute to the development of sustainable and resilient energy systems that can support Bangladesh's transition toward cleaner energy and low-carbon transportation.
Overall, my research work seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and practical energy applications, with particular emphasis on developing technically feasible, economically viable, and sustainable solutions for Bangladesh and other developing regions.
