Dr. Md. Mohib Ullah is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh, marked by distinguished educational and professional achievements. He was awarded the Research Excellence Award for securing first place as the Best Researcher of 2024, in recognition of publishing the highest number of papers in Scopus-indexed journals among the faculty members of the Department of English Language and Literature.. 1. IVLP Alumnus
Dr. Md. Mohib Ullah is an alumnus of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. His IVLP program is titled Integrating Technology and Inquiry-Based Methods in the Classroom.
2. Fulbright Scholarship Holder
He held a Fulbright Scholarship through the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program at the University of Georgia, USA, during the 2012–2013 sessions. His outstanding performance earned him an Award of Excellence Certificate from his Fulbright Supervisor.
3. Leadership Roles
He has taken on prominent roles in the field of English language education. He is serving as General Secretary of the Bangladesh English Language Teachers Association (BELTA) and as Founding Chair of the Chittagong South Chapter. Additionally, his contributions extend to his role as Founder and President of Global Aid for Sustainable Development (GASD), a voluntary initiative of U.S. Exchange Alumni.
