IIUC & Woosuk University Sign MoU for Student Exchange, Scholarships, and Korean Language Centre

Great news for students interested in South Korean education and Korean Language! An MoU was signed between International Islamic University Chittagong and Woosuk University, South Korea on 15th April, 2026 at Dhaka. A 3 member delegation of Woosuk University was visiting Bangladesh for signing the MoU led by Ms. Dr. Hyun- Sil Shin, Dean, International Affairs. The other members were Ms. Wonbin Noh, Global Relations Officer and Mr. Jia Hong Da. On the other hand Prof. Dr. Serajul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Director( In charge), International Affairs and Student Welfare Division represented IIUC in the meeting. Both the Deans signed the MoU for their respective universities. The MoU would facilitate Student exchange for research and study, Exchange of Faculty and staff, Credit Transfer, Joint research activities between two universities. IIUC students will be offered Scholarship by Woosuk University. At the same time a Korean Language Centre will be opened at IIUC Campus where Korean Instructors will be provided by Woosuk University.
