IIUC Organizes Three-Day Teachers' Development Training-2026 at BARD
IIUC is organizing three-day Teachers' Development Training-2026 at BARD, Cumilla from 19-21 August; 120 teachers participating; Pro-VC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hasmat Ali attended as Chief Guest.
International Islamic University Chittagong is organizing a three-day Teachers' Development Training-2026. The training is being held from 19 to 21 August at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) in Cumilla. A total of 120 IIUC teachers are taking part in the training. The opening ceremony was held on 19 August. Professor Dr. Muhammad Hasmat Ali, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of IIUC was the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman Treasurer of IIUC chaired the program. On the first day, Professor Dr. Abu Bakar Rafique Ahmed, Member of the IIUC Board of Trustees and former Vice-Chancellor, discussed the "Roles of Faculty members in achieving the mission and vision of IIUC." Professor Dr. Md. Atiar Rahman, former Vice-Chancellor of Rangamati Science and Technology University, conducted a session on research and publication. Colonel Md. Quasem, PSC (Retd.), Registrar of IIUC, conducted a session on IIUC Service rules - Relevant Provisions. On the second day, 20 August, Professor Dr. B. M. Mofizur Rahman Al-Azhari conducted a session on "Teaching from Holy Qur'an." On the same day, Professor Dr. Mohammad Ismail, former Vice-Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University, discussed higher education and scholarships.
