Four alumni of IIUC's Department of Economics & Banking received fully funded scholarships at the International University of Japan in 2026.

IIUC Economics & Banking Alumni Receive Fully Funded Scholarships at IUJ Japan

The Department of Economics & Banking, Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), has achieved a remarkable milestone in international higher education. In 2026, four alumni of the department have received Fully Funded Scholarships to pursue the Master of Arts (Economics) under the International Relations Programme at the International University of Japan (IUJ). Notably, all three Bangladeshi recipients of the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) at IUJ are alumni of the department: Md. Azizul Haque (6th batch) and Md. Ashikur Rahman and Ridoyanul Haque (4th batch). Another alumnus, Obaidul Haque has received the JERA Scholarship for the same programme. IIUC family warmly congratulates them on their great achievement and wishes them all the best.
