Dr. Md. Josim Uddin is a researcher and a current faculty member of the Department of Pharmacy at International Islamic University Chittagong. He received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Biology from the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU), Germany under prestigious German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship. Dr. Uddin has been awarded the doctoral degree with a ‘Very Good’ grade (Summa Cum Laude), an outstanding achievement. Earlier he received his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in 2007 and 2008, respectively from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He is a member of the Kiel Pharmacognosy Group (KPG), Germany. Dr. Uddin has published a good number of articles in high-impact multidisciplinary and disciple-specific peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include natural product chemistry, medicinal chemistry, complementary and native medicine, and drug discovery.
