The Diploma in Computer Science (DCS) program under the Faculty of Science & Engineering offers diplomas in the following field of specialization:

I Professional Diploma in Computer Networking

II Professional Diploma in Computer Database

III Professional Diploma in Computer Graphics & Web Designing

Duration of Studies

Duration of DCS program is 2 Semesters of six months each. A semester normally consists of 21 weeks of classes and 2 weeks of examination. Classes will be held in evening and weekend.

The Each Diploma is consisting of 12 integrated courses carrying 36 Credit Hours.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into Diploma in Computer Sciences the applicant must have passed HSC/A-Level or an equivalent examination.

Degree Requirements

A student should complete 36 credit hours to receive the ‘Diploma in Computer Science’. A student who has successfully completed the first semester of the ‘Diploma in Computer Science’ program may be eligible to obtain the ‘Certificate in Computer Science’.

Fees and Charges

Students are required to pay the fees and charges on semester basis. Semester fees are charged as per the credits registered by a student. The total cost for the whole program is TK. 20,000 (Taka Twenty Thousand only).
