International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) is planning to computerize its key operational
activities. For this purpose a software firm will be appointed to computerize
an Integrated University Management System of IIUC through a competitive
bidding process.
This automation process will include the following
facilities:
1. All operational activities of the university:
Admission, Pre- registration,
Registration, Scheduling, Billing, Result Processing, Student Web Panel, Teacher Web Panel, Library.
2.
Back Office activities of the university: Accounting, Inventory, Personnel, Payroll, Leave and attendance,
SMS service, etc.
The provider of the automation program should fulfill the following
requirements :
1. That the software
provider should be a renowned firm and a member
of some reputed software association (e.g. a BASIS member).
2.
That the software firm should have specific experience in installing an Integrated University Management System
in at least one university in
Bangladesh
.
3. That the firm must have a minimum of five
years of experience in running
software industry.
4. The software firm must be able to demonstrate
software at any time during
evaluation.
The proposals
should be submitted in details showing each area of operational activities to
be covered and the related costs (area wise) to the following address by
July
10, 2011
. Proposal should be submitted in a sealed envelope.
The envelope should be marked with “Proposal
for Integrated University Management System”. The IIUC authority reserves
the right to accept or reject any proposal without assigning any reason
thereof.
