I express my heartfelt gratitude towards Almighty Allah (s.w.t.) for His special favor on International Islamic university Chittagong (IIUC) that He enabled us to continue our journey towards the noble objectives since its inception. Alhamdulillah, IIUC has witnessed a tremendous success in respect of quality education, providing the logistics for the students, offering new programs of study and also in respect of ever-increasing students population.
IIUC has succeeded to make for it a prestigious place through being recognized as one of the Top Graded Non Government Universities of Bangladesh as evaluated by a high powered Accreditation Team, constituted by the Ministry of Education headed by the Chairman of UGC for assessing the Private Universities. We can claim that IIUC has attained this prestigious position by dint of its own quality and commitment.
IIUC has never considered education a commodity and the University a business organization but we always remain committed to offer quality education with a moderate package of fees and charges, affordable by the middle class of the society, keeping the scope open to the talented students for obtaining scholarships and financial assistance based on their performance.
IIUC’s integrated education policy enables the students for equipping themselves with multi-dimensional expertise and all round personality. Being an International University, IIUC’s facilities are not limited to the Bangladeshies only, it is rather open to all the seekers of knowledge beyond the regional boundary of the country.
We have organized our 3rd Convocation to confer degrees on as many as 2359 students, graduated from Nine Departments under Five Faculties. Earlier 666 students had graduated in two convocations held in 2002 & 2003 respectively.
We hope, this new generation of IIUC graduates shall be able to make meaningful contributions towards the development of the nation and advancement of the Muslim Ummah through exercising professionalism, expertise and morality.
